Saturday 7/19/2025:

NFO walk around Balboa Island. Meet at the ferry boat crossing at the south end of Agate on Balboa Island

Andrew and Janie's ward is the University Park Ward. This year (2025) it meets at 12:30 PM.

We may do our own second hour, like we did in 2024 and 2023. That was great. If we do, try to meet in the High Council room which is near the front, right exit from the chapel. Marc and/or Trent to lead?

You may not want to be late. The food places close at 8:00 pm on week nights.

(This is where Mom plays tennis, with the community building, the Pickleball courts, and a big grass area. This is where we went last year, but not where we went in 2023.)

Movie Night -- 8:00, 9:00, 10:00 PM?
Some theaters have discount tickets on Tuesdays, and that is why we picked Tuesday for the movie.

Brady Nelson is heading this activity up this year. Below is information from his email of 6/20/2025 to NFO-TALK:

We're about a month away from the beach! I'm excited to host our evening of NFO TED Talks on Thursday night @ 7pm. You can sign yourself up or nominate someone else using the link below. No one is obligated to present, but we'd love to hear from any and all who are interested. I'll coordinate with the presenters on allotted time and other details later.

Venue: if possible, we'll claim a fire ring near the Balboa Pier across the ferry. Bring beach chairs, s'mores, and other treats. I'll provide the charcoal/wood and a microphone/speaker set up. More details on the fire rings here:
